Route map from Krishnagiri..... time taken almost 2 hours Road from Marandahalli to Bettamugilalam is very steep and not that good... need to drive very carefully in first and second gear only on a 2 wheeler. If you drive a 4 wheeler better take Denkanikottai route instead of Marandahalli route which is far better than this one.
Climate is excellent, hidden jewel in Krishnagiri District, no commercialization, need to carry water bottle and food. Good hotels are not available only village tea shops, petty hotels are available. Greenery every where, lot of birds chirping sound on the forest route, you don't feel lonely as lot of people are transversing in their 2 wheelers.
Advisable to start early in the morning and return before 3.00 PM from the forest area...
